We asked creator Lili to reflect on what exactly she loves about a set, who she created Mommy & Me sets for, and why sneakers are her go-to accessory (and gift)!

What inspired you to create Mommy & Me sets?
There’s no better way to capture the feeling and beauty of a set than a new mom and her baby. With this in mind, we launched LESET bebe -- matching sets for mommy & me’s. LESET has always in part been a reflection of my life and how I'd like to look and feel. In the past year some of the most important people to me have either had babies or been pregnant (including both of my sisters) and I wanted to celebrate it.
What were the must-have design elements you took into consideration when creating styles of babies?
Sets, of course! :) We really wanted to create simple, classic styles for bebe in our best selling fabrics.
What is the set your mom friends rave the most about for its versatility? Why?
All of the Lori Sets (named after my mom)! They’re soft like cashmere, but at a sharp price point. The styles are so versatile in this fabric group that it makes building different variations of your set so easy.
When your sisters told you that they were pregnant, what was the first gift you purchased for them?
Sneakers -- there’s really nothing cuter to me than tiny shoes!
Besides the perfect set of clothing, what is one other item you rely on for keeping your life simple and streamlined?
A pair of fresh white Supergas, they are classic and pair back to everything so seamlessly.
