Motherhood has been a whirlwind of travel and adventure for this mom. Taylor Gardner Bryan, who works in interior design and is based in Santa Monica is a mom-on-the-go with her hubby and son, Fox. We caught up with her to find the things that have been life-savers for her throughout her transition to mama.
Obsessed. I’ve used this as a diaper cream since day one and Fox has never once had a diaper rash. It’s like the natural Aquaphor, a multipurpose salve that’s amazing for cuts, moisturizing, and just about everything. I always have this in my bag.
I was that mom at first who said I would never use a sound machine so that my child could learn to sleep anywhere. (Hahahahah!) Trust me... JUST USE THE SOUND MACHINE! It’s a lifesaver.
Absolutely amazing for transitioning out of a swaddle. I plan to keep Fox in one for as long as humanly possible.
Under the Nile Organic Baby Bunny Lovey:
This was the only lovey Fox got super attached to, so I bought six just in case. The bonus is that they are organic cotton since he bites and chews on it.
Pajamas from Hart + Land, Little Sleepies, and Petidoux:
Each of these brands carry soft, cute, and amazing quality pjs for the little ones.
Kalon Studios has such clean, minimal, and aesthetically pleasing designs. It's perfect for the transition to a toddler bed.
Clothes from Quincy Mae, Mini Mioche, and Roux Kids:
I’m really into basics in neutrals and muted colors on babies and kids. (And I'm absolutely obsessed with babies in bonnets from Quincy Mae.) ALL of these brands are just the cutest!
I love California Baby's unscented cream for face and body and their hand soap. I can’t stand anything with added fragrance (especially for babies and kids).
Dr. Bronner’s Unscented Baby Soap:
Unscented baby soap: Love. I use this myself for body wash, and on Fox for shampoo and body wash.
These are life. I have them all over the house, the car, and in every bag. They are majorly essential and I love that they’re basically made from just water and fruit extract.
These are my go-to nighttime diapers that never fail.
Hands down, the best non-toxic sunscreen for kids.
We travel a lot and the Slumber Pod creates a dark environment around the crib (aka: basically genius).
Baby Yo-Yo Zen Travel Stroller:
A must-have for those traveling or living in cities. It's a total godsend; I used this nonstop for the first year and a half. (It's also amazing for hiking -- used it a ton during our summer 2020 Wyoming/Montana trip.)
Clek has the best-in-class safety features, no flame retardants, and the lowest chemical hazard rating. I love that it’s so safe and non-toxic. Fox also seems super comfortable in it. Highly recommend!
