Sustainability Round-Up with Lauren Wolk-Goldfaden

It’s officially February, so naturally, we had to ask… are you sticking to your goals?

One of ours was to make more sustainable choices this year. While we always try to stick to clean living, there are a few products that have been game changers this last month and have greatly helped us hold up our end of the bargain. Earth, you are welcome!

Workout / Lounge Outfits by Girlfriend Collective

Not only are these outfits super cute, comfortable, and sweat-wicking, they are sustainable to boot and come in the most fun colors!

Stasher Reusable Bags

Bye, bye zip-lock bags! These reusable food-grade bags are made of platinum silicone, are non-toxic, dishwasher and microwave safe, and can even be labeled with a dry erase marker. The kids’ lunches just got a major upgrade.

Reusable Grocery Bags

I haven’t needed to take a plastic grocery bag in years because these reusable grocery bags make getting your shopping done so easy! They fit so much, are sturdy, and I can easily wipe them down!

Corkcicle Water Bottles

I love all of Corkcicle’s products, but their water bottles are my very favorite. They keep water cold all day and are oh so durable!

Bee’s Wrap Covers

Instead of using saran wrap, I’ve been using Bee’s Wrap Covers. Made in Vermont, their eco-friendly wraps make packing lunches and storing food so much easier, with no plastic waste. They come in cute designs too!

Boxed Laundry Detergent

This is such a hard one for me because we seem to do so much laundry in the house! I have swapped the traditional big and bulky plastic laundry detergents for the boxed laundry packaging. (Tide has changed to this and it is much more eco-friendly!)

SilPat Mats

Swap your silicone baking mats for SilPat mats, a line of nonstick baking sheets made in France. Paraffin-infused and grease proof, they can be used over and over again, and make baking that much more enjoyable!
