All Mini Bloom products have a two-year shelf life when left unopened and a 12-month freshness seal upon opening. (Note: We purposefully place formulas with the most active ingredients in airless pump containers to sustain freshness and high quality. For products with twist-off tops and lids, be sure to seal them tightly between each use.)
All of our products are created with love in the United States.
All Mini Bloom products are cruelty-free and never tested on animals. (We love them too much to do that!) We’re also approved by PETA and Leaping Bunny.
Yes, all Mini Bloom products are 100% vegan.
Yes, yes, and yes! Using clean and eco-conscious ingredients down to the very last drop is a Mini Bloom must. (Note: Phthalates and other nasties are sometimes snuck into skincare products that claim to be clean since they’re often included within the term “fragrance” as a product ingredient.)
Yes, all of our formulas are free of gluten.
Yes yes yes. Our bottles are made from a material called HDPE (high density polyethylene). HDPE is composed of 60% recycled materials and is PVC, BPA, and phthalate free. It is safe to use, easily recycled, helps keep non-biodegradable waste out of landfills, and reduces plastic production by up to 50 percent.
As for our mailers and shippers, we make it a priority to mitigate our carbon footprint in an effort to limit the immediate demands on our planet, and create a more environmentally-conscious future. And so just as important as keeping our containers clean, so to is delivering our products to you in a sustainable way. Because for us, both clean products and clean delivery are at the core of who we are. We’re gentle on the bod—we’re gentle on the environment. As such, to date, our shippers are made of 100% recycled materials, 97% of which comes from post-consumer goods.
Inspired by the remedies of nature and the science of plant-based botanicals, every product we make is composed of natural and organic-derived, sustainably sourced ingredients. And with an ongoing commitment to clean standards, ingredient transparency, accountability, and a quality guarantee that sets us apart—this is the foundation of who we are and what we value.

No. And here’s why.The word “natural” is actually a marketing term. Natural would only be the case if we pulled these ingredients from the earth, mixed them in a mortar with a pestle, and applied them directly to you and your babe from there. As soon as we bring a natural ingredient into a lab, which is where all of our natural ingredients go, the technical/accurate term for it becomes naturally derived. And since we thought that might be your next question: yes, our products are 100% naturally derived! Also, we firmly believe you have a right to know what goes into our products. As such, we list each of our ingredients clearly and consistently on every product.

No. We’d love that for us and we’d love that for you, but it’s simply not possible. Here’s why.
We take pride in formulating our products with the purest ingredients and sourcing each one from suppliers that hold themselves to the same standards we do—heads of ethically minded companies that work with farms that grow their plants without the use of pesticides, refrain from using petroleum-based fertilizers and bioengineered genes, and recycle resources and promote biodiversity. That being said, some naturally occurring, ultra-performing ingredients simply cannot be approved as being 100% organic under the USDA Organic and NSF Organic seals
For example, zinc—a naturally occurring metallic element sourced from below the earth—is heated and combined with oxygen molecules in a lab to create the essential zinc oxide we use in our Toot Toot Balm.
However, it’s not recognized by these seals as being an organic ingredient because neither the formation nor the extraction of it are controlled by mankind purposefully growing it on the land. However, it’s still a wonderful and effective ingredient that is as pure, clean, and naturally derived as can be.
While we developed our formulas so they’re safe on the skin from the very first bath onwards, we do recommend consulting your pediatrician regarding the use of products on babies 3 months old and younger.
All of our packaging—including bottles, tubes and jars—are 100% recyclable and are made of over 50% recycled materials. Our boxes are paperless and 100% biodegradable, and all of our shipping materials are made with 100% recyclable materials.
We’ve looked high and low to find great supply chain partners and because of this we have been able to quantify our environmental impact, which you can learn more about here.
